And don't forget the day trip to the island of La Gomera!
Arrive on Tenerife and meet your private driver, who will take you to Costa Adeje. Once you check into the hotel, the rest of the day and evening are yours to enjoy.
Today is a full day! After breakfast, you’ll be met at the hotel by your guide for a private tour of Garachico and Masca. Your first stop is Icod de los Vinos, where you'll visit the quaint town and see the oldest dragon tree in Tenerife, the Drago Milenario. Next, you’ll visit Garachico - once home to American colonists, this port town served as the gateway for trade between Europe and the New World in the 16th and 17th centuries. The city is defined by its beautiful churches, monasteries, and unique craggy coastline. Next, visit the Cave of the Wind; thought to be the largest volcanic cave in the world, the Cueva del Viento has a known length of over 17 kilometers. It consists of a complex lava tube with several entrances and is the largest lava tube in the European Union. Later, you'll visit Masca. At an altitude of 600 meters, its homes are perched on narrow mountain ridges over deep ravines covered in cypress and palm trees. This is one of the most picturesque parts of the island. At the end of the day, your guide will return you to your hotel.
Today, set out on whale and dolphin watch, one of the “must-do” activities while in Tenerife. Just a 15-minute boat ride away from shore, you'll have the chance to spot bottle nose dolphins, pilot whales, and up to 21 other marine species that are common in this area. Since so many of these beautiful creatures inhabit the waters of the Canary Islands, visitors are practically guaranteed to spot marine life every day of the year!
Take this day to explore the island as you see fit. Stroll the boardwalk, shop in the many boutiques, or just relax by the pool or on the beach.
After breakfast, depart for Loro Parque, a world-class attraction that was originally intended to be a refuge for parrots. Today, the park houses an immense diversity of animal species, integrated amidst palm trees and other exotic plants. Its commitment to conservation and sustainability has made Loro Parque one of the most recognized zoos in the world, boosting over 44 million visitors since its gates first opened in 1972.
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning to yourself; relax at your hotel or explore the town. In the afternoon, you'll visit Las Cañadas National Park, home to Mt. Teide. This park is characterized by its unique, lunar landscape and beautiful plant life. Once in the park, pass the Chinyero volcano (site of the last major volcanic eruption in Tenerife in 1909) and stop at Roques de Garcia, where you can admire the view of Mt. Teide from 3,718 meters high. If the weather is good, you'll have the option to take the cable car to the summit of the volcano. Later, you'll enjoy the beautiful sunset overlooking the other Canary Islands and can stop to take memorable photos at a few of Mt. Teide’s stunning vistas.
Siam Park is recognized by TripAdvisor as the best themed water park in the world! The exceptional Thai architecture, lush vegetation, and the white sand and turquoise waters of Siam beach truly stand out. If you're daring enough, make sure to try out the Volcano or Dragon rides!
After breakfast, board the ferry for your visit to La Gomera, an island of hidden beauty. Explore the island in chauffeur-driven jeeps, enjoying the open air and panoramic views. During your day on the island, discover Garajonay National Park and the ancient rain forest, visit small and tranquil villages, sample traditional Gomeran cuisine for lunch, and learn about the fascinating whistling language that is found only on this island. You will also have time to explore San Sebastian, the island's capital city that was once visited by Christopher Columbus on his way to discover the new world. At the end of the day, board the ferry to return to Tenerife.
After breakfast, your driver will pick you up at your hotel for your transfer to the airport. Safe travels!
