Of the world’s 79 species of dolphins and whales, 21 live near Tenerife, Canary Islands, including permanent colonies of pilot whales, bottlenose dolphins, giant blue whale and Orca whales. All live just three miles off the coast year-round and have made Tenerife one of the most popular places in Europe for seeing these majestic creatures.
